WHO?

  • Members are teachers, scholars, or individuals with expertise or a strong interest in African languages and literature.

  • Graduate students who are teaching, conducting research, or demonstrating a keen interest in African languages and literature.

  • Institutional members consist of organizations committed to supporting the purpose and goals of this organization through annual contributions.

  • All members shall enjoy the rights, privileges, and obligations of regular members, except institutional members, who do not have voting rights.

WHAT?

  • The members shall be actively involved in promoting the mission of the organization by ensuring they attend conferences, design research and participate in authoring books and journals for publication.

WHY?

  • One of the fundamental aspect of the members is that they are professionally involved with or have a keen interest in African languages and works of Literature teaching and conducting research or have a keen interest in African languages and Literature. Additionally, members can support the goals and objectives of the organization by sponsoring some of the activities through paying their membership fees, conference registration fees and personal contributions .
