Call for 2024 Papers
This section is dedicated to announcements. Please follow this page for the latest updates on events and news related to this organization
Dear colleagues,
Happy New year! I hope you are doing well and have had a restful break. As mentioned during the SEALLF 2024 conference Business Meeting, attached please find the call for 2024 SEALLF conference book proposal and paper submissions. We plan to submit the conference volume book proposal to Lexington Publishers by the end of this January, no later than the first week of February 2025. April is often filled with conference presentations while May is critical for end of semester responsibilities and summer travel preparations. Thus, I encourage you to reserve a few minutes to get the paper proposal (title, 150 words abstract, 80 words bio) as soon as possible and send it to magandad@uga.edu, copy akinloye@uga.edu. The submission of the proposal will serve as a commitment to writing the paper as well as a guide to the structure of the chapters in the proposed book. The paper need not to be ready for the proposal to be submitted. We will submit the abstracts and two sample papers during the proposal stage. We have attached the call for papers as well as last year's conference abstract call so that you write your papers in line with the theme. This will help us greatly during the review process. We would really appreciate it if a few of you submitted your papers by the end of this month, January 2025 or the first week of February 8th to be reviewed and sent to the publishers as samples when submitting the proposal.
Thanks.
