South East African Languages and Literatures Forum
South East African Languages and Literatures Forum(SEALLF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching and promoting African languages in the United States, focusing on the Southern region. Founded 15 years ago by a small group of teachers and scholars specializing in African languages and literature, SEALLF has grown to include a diverse membership. Members include graduate students, scholars, and researchers who advance knowledge, teach, and conduct research in African languages and literature or have a strong interest in these fields. Institutional members are organizations that support SEALLF's mission and contribute annually to its funds. All members enjoy the rights, privileges, and obligations of regular membership, except institutional members, who do not have voting rights.
