Membership

Who?

Regular members are teachers and scholars of African Language and Literature or individuals with a on African languages. Student members should be graduate students, teaching and conducting research or have a keen interest in African languages and Literature. Institutional members are organizations interested in supporting the purpose and goals of this Organization by contributing annually to its funds. All these types of members shall have all the rights, privileges, and obligations of regular members except the institutional members who will not have the right to vote.

What?

The members shall be actively involved in promoting the mission of the organization by ensuring they attend conferences, design research and participate in authoring books and journals for publication.

Why?

One of the fundamental aspect of the members is that they are professionally involved with or have a keen interest in African languages and works of Literature teaching and conducting research or have a keen interest in African languages and Literature. Additionally, members can support the goals and objectives of the organization by sponsoring some of the activities through paying their membership fees, conference registration fees and personal contributions .
